Foodies everywhere rejoice when it’s Restaurant Week (RW)! Not only was it RW in NY, but restaurants right across the river in Hudson County (NJ) also participated . Although the purpose of RW is to lure in customers and to give people the opportunity to visit different restaurants without breaking the bank, the menu selection is often too limited. But, this was not the case at the two Hudson County restaurants I went to! Sure, there were fewer participating restaurants compared to NY, but the menu selection for Hudson County restaurants was bigger and more appealing. Plus, one of the restaurants validated parking !
1. Black Duck – 122 East 28th Street New York, NY
The food was really good, but the menu was so limited.
Pear & Argula Salad. Very Very Good.

Alaskan Fluke (I think) over brussel sprouts- Sooo goood. Probably the only time I ate all the brussel sprouts.

2. Chart House - 1500 Harbor Boulevard Weehawken, NJ
Delicious food! Great View!
House Salad (not very pleasing to the eye, but very good)

Salmon with the most outrageously, delicious, gourmet mashed potatoes.

My friend got the short ribs, which she raved about.

3. Amanda’s - 908 Washington St # A Hoboken, NJ
Extensive menu selection for RW and so delicious!
Mascarpone & chocolate swirl cheesecake. Oh. my. goooooodness.

Warm chocolate cake with ice cream.

Don’t judge me. lol. Restaurant Week in NY continues till February 10th! Enjoy!
