Ruby Hammer

Everytime I see a Bengali person in the media..I go bananas!

Ruby Hammer is a Nigerian-born Bangladeshi who emigrated to England when she was 13. Today, she happens to be one of Britain’s most successful make-up artists. Ruby has done work for catwalk collections in Paris, New York and Milan and influential fashion houses and photographers. She has worked on shoots for magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Red, Harpers & Queen, Marie Claire and Italian Vogue.

Besides being extremely talented, she is extremely beautiful at the age of 47!

Ruby co-owns the brand Ruby & Millie, which can be found in drug stores around England. I believe she is also trying to go global with the brand. When I went to London in the Summer of ’08, I picked up some products at BOOTS.

My absolute favorite was the Ruby & Millie eyeliner which you can buy here.

If you are like me, you will love how creamy it is. It glides on effortlessly and is so dark! Perfect for smokey eyes. I really think it’s one of the best out there.

I also love the I-Writer. Absolutely wonderful!
